PEDALARE
ON BIKE
The Valtellina path and the Valchiavenna cycling trail shapes a bicycle-pedestrian path that crosses a main part of valley bottom in Sondrio province; Almost 150km of trail suitable for all. The path is meant to discover this land, that lies under the Adda and Mera rivers, and with deviations to the small villages disseminated on the edges of the journey and the historical towns of Chiavenna, Morbegno, Sondrio and Tirano.
A CAVALLO
ON HORSEBACK
Valtellina offers wonderful places uncharted views, a superb nature that can be discovered, even on horseback. On the bottom of the valley, for instance, Valtellina path, on the banks of the Adda river, offers the chance to be crossed on horseback with interesting detours that from the green plain takes you up the numerous wild valleys.
ARRAMPICATA
ROCK CLIMBING
Val Masino, one of the smaller valleys of Valtellina, has became famous for its climbing walls, ideal for this relatively young sport, safe from the strong spirit of ecologists. The natural reserve of Val di Mello and the token event of this sport, the Melloblocco, held every year at the beginning of May, are already symbols for rock worldwide climbers.
